Kansas City-based startup accelerator and business incubator Think Big Partners and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce have announced Master Your Card Missouri as the presenting sponsor for the June 20th innovation and entrepreneurship conference known as iKC.

Master Your Card Missouri is a public education campaign from MasterCard which helps consumers, small businesses and governments get more from their money by using prepaid, debit and credit cards to their advantage. Master Your Card Missouri uses its innovative technology to run an electronic payment network that delivers instantaneous, affordable and safe transactions through cards.

The Master Your Card Missouri program is an entrepreneurial approach to the world of payment that aligns with the message that iKC will send this spring. The program allows for consumers, small businesses and governments to improve awareness of financial inclusion, awareness of financial literacy, negotiation tactics, knowledge of electronic payment processes and technical assistance.

The cofounder and managing partner of Think Big Partners, Herb Sih, earlier launched a new healthy-living blog called Startup Your Fitness, which encourages entrepreneurs to live a healthy lifestyle with diet and exercise.

Startup Your Fitness, which launched on April Fool’s Day, will provide entrepreneurs with exercise tips, diet tricks and pieces of health advice that can fit into a busy lifestyle. The blog is written by Herb Sih, a serial entrepreneur who found himself caught up in the startup world and drifting further and further away from staying in shape.

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and Think Big Partners have launched the new website for Kansas City’s innovation and entrepreneur conference, now known as iKC.

iKC, formerly known as The Chamber’s Innovation Conference and Think Big Partners’ Think Big Kansas City, is a day-long conference that will be hosted by H&R Block. The mission of the conference is to foster innovation and creativity in Kansas City, help build the “City of Entrepreneurs”, and provide innovation and startup education for corporate creatives, KC businesses and entrepreneurs. The conference will take place on June 20th at the H&R Block World Headquarters in downtown Kansas City.

Think Big Partners is accepting applications for its summer internship program now open to college students who are interested in working with an entrepreneurial organization during the summer of 2012.

Think Big Partners, a technology-focused startup accelerator and business incubator, has set the itinerary for the Think Big Field Trip, which is to take place on March 21, 2012 until March 23, 2012. The Think Big Field Trip will send ten of the Midwest's most promising startup companies to pitch in front of Bay-area investors at two different showcases in Silicon Valley.

The Think Big Field Trip begins with the Silicon Valley Bank Seed Showcase at the Rosewood Hotel on March 21, 2012. At the SVB Seed Showcase, startup companies are expected to present a startup pitch in just seven minutes to a large number of Bay-area investors. At the closing of the Silicon Valley Bank Seed Showcase, the Field Trip companies will be escorted to the Mozilla Foundation where they will participate in a briefing on WebFWD and the Mozilla Ignite programs. The first day finishes with the SF New Tech Spring Fling.
